Founder's Story

Essentials That Elevate.

It started with a midnight thought. I'd been wanting to do something for a while, and I didn't really overthink it, I just went with it, knowing that once I actually started, things would figure themselves out. The name came to me right then and I never second guessed it. The Minimal. That was it.

That was December, right after I graduated from college and was on my gap year before uni. By August, on my own birthday, I launched, funded by my savings and a loan from my dad. This wasn't some side thing I was testing out. It was the one shot I had, and I knew it.

I didn't have industry connections or any experience making clothes, so a lot of this got figured out as I went, with a lot of help from my friends, my parents, my siblings, and my manufacturer, who's genuinely one of the nicest people I've worked with. Finding him took a while though, because every manufacturer I sat with had their own opinion on what I should be making instead of what I actually wanted to make.

It took four or five rounds of samples to get the fit right. Every time one came back, I'd get my friends, family, honestly anyone around, to try it on, different heights, different builds, because a fit that only works on one body type isn't done yet.

There was a batch early on, green tshirts, that came back completely defected. Picked one up, something's off. Next one, same thing. A few more in and I'm genuinely sitting there like wth do I even do now. I remade the whole thing and kept moving because that's just what you do.

When the first real batch showed up, I sat there for hours checking every single piece myself. Some were off so those went back for fixes before I let anything near a customer. Nothing deep about it, just had to be done. Still do that today, still check everything myself.

Some people compare my prices to cheaper stuff they find elsewhere, and honestly that one gets to me sometimes. But what actually keeps me going is people ordering once and then coming back, or ordering again for a friend or their family. That's the stuff that genuinely means something.

The Minimal just hit its first year. Over 500 orders delivered across Pakistan, with most of it coming out of Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Islamabad, and a lot of repeat customers along the way. Still building this, still checking every piece by hand.

Not chasing trends, not cutting quality to hit a lower price tag. Just trying to make the stuff you actually reach for without thinking about it.

The Minimal Manifesto

  • We believe the clothes you wear the most should be the ones made the best.
  • We believe confidence comes from comfort, not logos.
  • We believe timeless design will always outlast trends.
  • We believe quality should be honest and accessible.
  • We reject unnecessary graphics.
  • We reject trend chasing.
  • We reject shortcuts in quality, fit and craftsmanship.
  • We create clothing that feels like home, fits effortlessly and earns its place in your wardrobe.

Because the best clothing doesn't demand attention.

It earns it.
